Before composing “Escape,” I wondered how I might convey that concept in musical terms. Many possibilities exist and many situations beg to be left behind. I’m not talking so much about breaking literal bonds (since that music might be rather tense), but an escape from something less tangible. Sometimes, just abandoning the moment is desirable. So sit back, close your eyes, and let this be your “Escape.”
